You can
Impact the life
of a student today
At Colorado Sakura Academy, we believe education goes beyond books—it’s about experiencing the world firsthand. This journey to Japan brings language, history, and culture to life, giving our students the opportunity to grow in ways that simply aren’t possible in a classroom alone. With your support, we can make this dream a reality for every student.
Why Give?
-
✽
Open the World to a Student
Your support helps students step beyond the classroom and into a life-changing international experience. For many, this will be their first time traveling out of state, and for some, even out of the country.
-
✽
Turn Learning Into Real Experience
Students at Colorado Sakura Academy are studying the Japanese language and culture. This trip allows them to practice speaking, navigate real conversations, and engage with Japan in ways no textbook can.
-
✽
Experience Living History
From ancient temples in Kyoto to the vibrant streets of Tokyo, students will stand in places that are over 1,000 years old, deepening their understanding of history, tradition, and global heritage.
-
✽
Build Cross-Cultural Understanding
By interacting with people, customs, and daily life in Japan, students gain empathy, perspective, and cultural awareness, skills that will shape how they see the world for the rest of their lives.
-
✽
Make This Opportunity Accessible
Many of our students would not be able to participate without financial support. Your donation helps ensure this opportunity is not limited by financial barriers, but open to all who are willing to learn and grow.
-
✽
Invest in Lifelong Growth
This is more than a trip; it’s a moment that builds confidence, independence, and global perspective. The impact of your generosity will stay with students long after they return home.
Where Your Gift Goes
Every donation to Colorado Sakura Academy helps make this educational journey to Japan possible for our students. Your generosity directly supports the cost of creating a safe, meaningful, and unforgettable learning experience abroad.
Airfare & International Travel
Travel is often the biggest barrier for students participating in educational trips abroad. Donations help cover the cost of round-trip airfare, making it possible for more students to take part in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Lodging & Student Accommodations
Your gift helps provide students with safe, comfortable places to stay while traveling in Japan. Reliable accommodations allow students to focus on learning, exploring, and fully engaging in the experience.
Transportation Within Japan
From the fast-paced streets of Tokyo to the historic beauty of Kyoto and Nara, students will travel between cities to experience multiple sides of Japanese life and history. Donations help cover trains, local transit, and group transportation throughout the trip.
Educational & Cultural Experiences
This trip is designed to be more than sightseeing—it is a hands-on extension of the classroom. Contributions help fund museum visits, historical sites, temples, shrines, guided tours, and cultural learning experiences that bring Japanese history and traditions to life.
Language Immersion Opportunities
Students will have the chance to use the Japanese they’ve studied in real-world settings: ordering food, asking questions, navigating transportation, and interacting with locals. Donations help create an experience where language learning becomes practical, memorable, and confidence-building.
Meals & Daily Essentials
Traveling students need the basics covered so they can focus on learning and growing. Your support helps offset the cost of meals, daily necessities, and trip-related essentials throughout the week.
