Let’s Plan our Trip to Japan!
Our Itinerary
Our goal is to travel with our students and their families in April of 2027!
For more information on U.S. Citizens traveling to Japan, please visit the Consulate General’s Website
For a one-week trip to Japan, the most efficient and rewarding route is the "Golden Route," which focuses on Tokyo and Kyoto. This allows you to experience both the high-energy modern metropolis and the traditional heart of Japanese culture without spending your entire vacation on a train.
Tentative Itinerary Overview
Days 1–3: Tokyo (Modern & Traditional)
Day 4: Travel to Kyoto & Downtown Exploration
Days 5–6: Kyoto (Temples, Shrines, & Bamboo Groves)
Day 7: Nara Day Trip & Return to Tokyo
Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
Please note:
At least one parent/guardian must travel with their child
Parents/Guardians will be responsible for their students during travel to Japan. Our itinerary will allow families to explore Japan on their own, and even offer them the opportunity to stay longer. To allow this flexibility, we ask that parents/guardians stay close to their child at all times during travel.
Families will also be responsible for funding their travels. Throughout the year, we will offer fundraising opportunities and accept donations to ease the financial burden of travel. We encourage students and families to take part in as many fundraising opportunities as possible.
